Geoff Raives grew up in the Ventura County, attending school at Newbury Park High School. He went to the University of Redlands where he started and played for four years on the men’s soccer team, receiving all league and MVP Honors in the 2002 and 2003 seasons. He received the Captains Award and All Far West honors in his 2004 season. Geoff still holds the record for number of games started as a goalkeeper and is number two in shutouts for the U of R soccer team. After graduating in 2005 he played professionally in Thailand for Rajpracha.

Upon returning home Geoff began coaching in the Ventura County where he has been coaching for over 8 years. He currently is in his 8th year as Varsity Head Coach at Thousand Oaks High School, where he lead the Lancers to their first CIF title in 2007. Geoff is also in his 4th year at Real So Cal where he coaches U-11 and U-15 girls teams and is one of the Staff Goalkeeper Trainers. Recently in 2011 Geoff and his 2001 Men’s Soccer team were inducted into the University of Redlands Hall of Fame.
